I did not realize how much I loved this leash until it was gone. I bought a standard nylon leash to replace it and absolutely hate it. Unlike a nylon leash, this planet dog leash is soft, so you can grab the entire leash when you need to pull back your dog without hurting your hands. It also bends freely and not stiffly like a nylon leash. The leash is thick enough so there is something substantial to grab when needed. The fleece lined handle is soft (and stays that way). The leash also wears great, after 3 years of use it was still going strong. Pet hair does not stick to it (I should know, my dog has lots of long hair). It is worth the extra money. Very durable and strong. The fleece on the inside of the handle is a very nice touch. It's great if you have a dog that tugs. Nylon leashes would dig into your hand, but this one feels nice!
