This collar is super soft, and fit well per the description! The price was great, and I’m very happy with my purchase.

As I said this works but it is not our favorite collar. I like that it tightens but won’t strangle the dog. But I found one with a chain closure that we like much better..

I bought this collar to replace a similar older martingale type collar that had begun to wear out. Unfortunately, I was fooled by the first impression when receiving the item; Great quality fabric, hardware, and packaging, so I thought I was getting something that was perfect for what we needed. Unfortunately, the Large size is much too big for our 90lb Coonhound. He doesn’t have a particularly thin neck, and he has never worn anything other than a Large in any product (HE’S 90 POUNDS!!). We should have gotten a Medium, apparently.
Unfortunately, the fabric is very smooth, as is the hardware, and ultimately, the collar slips constantly. I am repeatedly readjusting the collar throughout the day, since the collar opens up at the adjustment buckle without much effort at all. Unfortunately, it’s too late to return it as these problems only uncovered themselves after a day or two of use, and it had already become dirty.
I wanted to love it, but unfortunately I cannot recommend this item at all.
