I got mixed up with the order. I had forgotten that the wire crate is purchased separately from the furniture top. Luckily, Petsmart had the exact crate I was looking for and it was on sale too!
I had bought the Iris 4-part Play pen, but my puppy had hardly used it for three weeks, than he begun to try and climb out. This pen had neither a top nor a bottom. So I had to buy a crate that was all enclosed.
I got an email to call and arrange for when I would like the furniture to be delivered, and true to their word, it was delivered in a large truck.
It was easy to assemble as it comes with clearly labelled diagrams for instructions.
But it is a very heavy piece of furniture. I had to seek help to move it around. I guess this contributes to its sturdiness.
I like its colour and appeareance. It has a nice rich glossy finish. And it blends in with the other furniture. And you can place things like flowers or table lamp on the top for a nice finish.
The combination is very strong..my pup is a terrier and he tried to get out but there is no way. The crate has two doors, one on the side and one on the front..I like this alot!
It has been the envy of the neighbourhood and they keep asking from where I got it from.
It may be pricey but it is well worth it. I planned to buy the largest size for my Welsh Terrier puppy and so I will never have to buy another “house” for him.
