in the Tri State Area of Delaware, Maryland and Pennsylvania

Program and Rides are by appointment, available seven days a week
Requirements - All participants are required to sign a waiver of release. Parent/guardian must sign for children under the age of 18. There is always a risk of wildlife or a stray dog surprising the dog team. Helmet and safety glasses are required and will be provided
Price and Payment - Price is according to type of program, ride or demonstation. At this time Howling Huskies Sled Dog Adventures will accept cash, traveler's checks and money orders. Payment is due at the time of scheduled program, ride or demonstration.
Sled Dog Patch Program - Program takes between 3 to 4 hours. It can be sheduled anytime between the hours of 7am to 11am. Please dress warm as this is an outdoor program.
Iditarod Program - Temperatures must be at least 45 degrees and lower. All rides must be schedule early in the morning when temperatures are at their lowest. The dogs run better in colder temperatures. The dog rides will be on a four wheeled cart and can take up to 3 hours to complete the program. The Howling Huskies Sled Dog Adventures staff uses six dog team. The location will be based on weather and trail conditions.
What to Bring - Bring your camera and please dress appropriately for cold weather as traveling along the trails can get very cold.
Weather Conditions for
Howling Huskies
Weather condition to run our dogs will be bases on the following weather conditions:
Temperature: Should be in the low 50 or lower. The lower the temperature, the more the dogs enjoy running.
Rain: Trail conditions should be dry enough to safetly drive a cart or sled.
Snow: Requires at least a 8 to 9 inch base and trail conditions free from ice.
