Why my husky trusts anyone so easily and is always ready to be friendly?

I see that most dogs of other people are suspicious of strangers and would even bark or act aggressively.
But my husky looks at everyone as if he/she is his owner. Why?

Dogs easily read body language and your lovely dog is very trusting and knows you put their best interest and will protect him if need be…
your dog was probaby never treated bad by a human.
or it could just be it nature. my pitt is like that too, nice to everyone.
Dogs are individuals with individual personalities.
They are not totally predictable.
I know exactly how you feel.. I had to teach my dog to “Speak” Just so I was sure he knew how to bark. When we went camping though the police suddenly walked into our camp and he went nuts with the Big Dog Bark.. I was so proud of him. (Cops just maken the rounds I Guess)
dogs can sense our emotions so if you are meeting your friend your dog will most likely be friendly as well. however some dogs are more curious than others and may be more friendly
how old is your dog??? and for the record I had a half black lab half golden who acted the same way untill one night when he was about 8 years old and we (the humans in the house) heard nothing at all until our dog who cried like a gigantic 85 pound baby 99% of the time when anyone came to the door stranger or not..made this very frightening gutteral sound (it would have scared the S++T outta me) and sounded like a rabid wolf…come to find out my dad went downstairs and found a footprint in our kitchen sink…someone tried to come into our kitchen window and was obviously stopped by my dog..who for the record after he passed we had to tell all of the school children why “Barney: was not at the fence to greet them anymore…sweetest best most trusting loving dog I have ever met in my life…till ya come in the window at 3 am…I would advise you strongly not to worry about your huskies love of people I would thank god for it since alot of huskies tend to be nervous and somewhat skittish around new people.
huskies are friendly dogs. Your dog has a good, friendly temperment.
Perhaps you can use this to your advantage.. get her invovled in therapy work.
He may not be as friendly as you think he/she is. The thing is dogs are usually at ease when their owner is around. You will often find that dogs are very friendly when their owner is around because they feel safe and secure. Dogs also sense whether their owner feels threatened or not and will act accordingly. You may find that when you are not around your dog may act protectively but, of course, you are not around to see it.
We have a very friendly dog who seems to love everyone. He even likes to try lick door to door salesman. However, one day we had a friend come round to return a lawnmower when we were not home and our dog would not let him in the backyard.
If you have a well socialised dog in general he will be very receptive to all types of people but I think you will find that he/she will still have a protective side when you are not around.
What a nice ‘problem’ to have. Enjoy it… Your dig obviously has a lovely nature and that is what you want in a family dog.
Dont be fooled . Just cos he’s nice to everyone now , doesnt mean he wont turn on them wothout warning . Its in there nature to do so , so please just be careful and keep it in the back of your head that it will only take a second for him to turn . think wolf !
He is just a friendly dog. He enjoys attention and love and he doesn’t care where it comes from.
I have an 11 months old Siberian Husky and she is exactly like that as well. Sibes are bred to be very loving with humans and they make awful guard dogs because they like everybody. Mine always wants to go and meet everyone and give them licks. Everybody at the vet’s office and dog daycare that she goes to loves her. This is in stark contrast to my other dog, a Shiba Inu.
Believe me, the Sibe friendly temperament is extremely precious and a really good thing to have
Huskies are very social. By their nature they love people and are extremely affectionate. This is the very same reason that they make terrible guard dogs.
Huskies do not have a tendency to “turn on” people. There are some breeds whose temperament you can’t trust as easily, but a Husky is not one of them.
Also, the Husky really should not be compared to a wolf. They are no more wolf than a Chihuahua!
