Saber & Udon Whining [Siberian Huskies]

Saber, the red husky, is whining and moping cause his mommy left him to go watch a hockey game. Udon is whining cause i’m provoking him and he’s easily excitable. Sorry for the bad quality, this came from my phone.
How can I stop a Husky from whining all the time?
My vet says Huskys are whiners. And my dog is a Husky/Shepherd mix. She has been outside, has water, food, treats, and she still whines. What is there that I could do, to get her to stop whining. She is an old dog, and hopefully looking for an answer from someone who has experience with this matter.
