Then as he got older she was harder on him. I don’t know maybe her way of toughening him up or maybe she spoiled him and he needed to be disciplined more I couldn’t tell you. But I do know that you aren’t supposed to interfere when mom is disciplining her pups. Like with humans, dogs don’t like to be told how to train their pups and we don’t like to be told how to train our children from other people. Good luck with your pups!
ryannlag: she was disiplincing him because he was always trying to nurse and she didn’t want him to when the others weren’t. She was really protective of that puppy at first because he was her first born and when she was chewing off the afterbirth and cord she accidently got two of his toes on his back foot. He is completely healthy, normal dog today. But she knew he was hurt and she was overprotective with him.
Im just curious what did pup do to mum to make her upset? we have a litter of 6 that are 3 almost 3 weeks. Just curious why mum rected like that to the one and not to the black pup. Kinda of interesting! I know the pups are probaly gone by now but they were super cute! Continued luck to you!
