My New Baby Max (red and white siberian husky)

We got max from the pound.He is 1yr and 5-6 months He is purebred 2 blue eyes he came with his papers his breeder had kept him with the intention to breed him out but he ended up getting “rough” and accidentally killing some barn cats so they dropped him at the pound the sad part was he was with a breeder and was that severly underweight he got roundworm at the pound which didn’t help he was 35lbs when i brought him home when he should be for his height 55-60 he had never been inside and had been attacked by another dog in the pound but despite it all he loves everybody he meets and every dog he even has some chihuahua friends i’ve seen him with cats he isn’t aggressive he just doesn’t realize they weren’t meant to play with big dogs so he pretty much got dumped for no good reason but im glad we have him. If you want a husky or any other dog for that matter do your homework on the breed then try to find a rescue or a shelter you don’t have to go to a breeder or a pet store to get a great dog

Max is so cute can’t wait till you guys come back up. And we will probably end up going ghost hunting. I went to posey chapel and patten cemetery last night. we got followed out of posey and inot my friends drive way
i have a black and white siberean hisky but she has one blue eye and one brown eye
i allways get a dog from the pound i wish i could get another dog but my daddy won’t let me he does’ent even like the dogs we allready have expct my other dog had puppies we did not know she was gonna have puppies but she did and we kept 2 of them and got rid of the mama dog the 2 puppies brian and gorge are 1 year old if u want to see them see them at my sisters channel ilheidi heidi is are other dog we now have 3 dogs iam training brian i allready tought him bedtime he goes strait 2 his bed

his name is Jefe we found him on the street he was very scared I called him and he came to me I gave him some water and dog food and we put up Lost Dog signs but no one called a month past by so we decided to keep him he loves to play whit my other dog that I had for 9 years she is a pitbull/labrador white/black Im glad I found him I love both of my dogs very much and I would do anything for them.
hey I am a great fan of Siverian Huskies. i would LOVE to get one as my own dog someday. As how I see it. they look like Gray Wolf and that is what I call cute. As soon as I am ready, I will get one. Maybe train it so it goes with me everywhere (as a guide dog, I am Legally blind and hard of hearing)
He is beatiful—We lost our first husky in April to cancer at the age of 12 and we just got a husky from a rescue. She is now 6m old (ish) and is red and white. Crap she is naughty but we just love her love her. She has definitly helped to mend our broken hearts. My last husky Drago was the sweetest/goofy/crazy boy–we just miss him. He too killed a cat,birds,mice, snakes, rabbits, raccoon,opossum, frogs,squirrels–Bella has quite the hunter’s instinct herself.

Great dog. Adopting from the Siberian Husky Rescue is wonderful advice. We adopted our Husky from the Rescue and she is the best dog ever. Also, the Rescue can provide information on each dog’s behavior.
I just wanna say Thank you so much for rescuing him, if you have done any reading about this breed then you know never to let him off leash, the faster you chase the further and faster they run.
My husky is 8 almost 9 years old and I love her to pieces, they such personality don’t they.
I wish more people would adopt from a shelter.

my roommate and i rescued a female siberian husky from our local shelter. Aura’s previous owner had moved and left her log chained to a tree in the mud with no food or water. when we brought her home she only weighed 35 pounds. she had tapeworms, which we treated successfully. she has two cancerous tumors, top that off with heart worms. she’s doing quite well despite all her medical issues. she’s a completely different dog. i hope you have the same success with your dog.

no he was only 35 he’s nowhere near 100
the reason max got dumped was because after he killed the cat (an instinct that comes naturally in the breed), the breeder saw him unfit to breed because future pups might inherit similar aggression. I never liked the idea of “show dogs”, but its great he found you! i hope other ppl do the same
