Training with Working Siberian Huskies

Our huskies are active pulling dogs. The older ones, Roots (9 years old) and Jaakko (11 years old), have spent their lives pulling tourists through the french alps, living with a pack of 30 dogs outside. They know how to pull, but they have never learnt any classic commands of obedience. Roots has been with us for almost 2 years, Jaakko for a little more than 6 months. I have never the less started to teach them sit, down and stand. They will learn to stay in these positions and maybe also to heel. Ewok (4 months old), Ebi (8 months old) and Daika (2 years old) have come to us as puppies. Daika is our star, she is not only able to heel, sit, down, stand and stay, she also can do fancy tricks such as the leg-slalom, jump into my arms, do the rabbit and say hello.
